The New York-based Swiss artist Ugo Rondinone (*1964 in Brunnen, CH) receives the 15th Robert Jacobsen Prize of the Würth Foundation. In a visual alphabet of archetypes, the artist moves between sculpture, installation, abstract painting and video. His monumental groups of works repeatedly characterize public spaces, whether in urban contexts such as New York and Paris or in the Nevada desert. The Würth Collection is honoring the Würth Foundation's prizewinner with a presentation of his work in the Belvedere of Museum Würth 2 and in the sculpture garden of the Carmen Würth Forum.
